Harlan graduated from Mayo Clinic as a Dermatologist in 1983. Later he began his own practice the Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery Center, P.C. For more than 22 years he has practiced Clinical Dermatology. He is the President of HTP (Hybrid Transitional Products) Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and serves in the role as Director of Research and Product Development. One of the most important innovations of his practice began in the very beginning in 1983, drawing upon his Mayo clinic compounding experience. Dr. H observed that very many of his acne and rosacea patients had barrier problems and sensitive skin problems. These people tended to have sensitive “combination skin.” Dr. H developed the Skin Stabilizer lotion to help them tolerate the strong prescription products they needed for the dermatology problems. Over the next twenty years, thousands of people with sensitive and “combination” skin were helped with the Skin Stabilizer concept. He works with medical professionals from a wide variety of fields including having clinical dermatological experience. Along with treating each client with professionalism and respect Chris knows how to listen, observe and ask the right questions that lead to the desired result for each client.
